How to refresh curls without having to wash!
Usually, we look to refresh our curls when we’ve hit day two or three post-wash. Waking up in the morning and seeing your curls flat and frizzy rather than bouncy and healthy is really frustrating. If we could keep our hair looking wash-day ready all the time, we would! But like everything in this world, hair needs water.
Refresh by using water only
A way to refresh your curls, and this goes out to those who have oily hair, is to simply refresh with water. For those with oily hair, adding extra product in before wash-day may not be your go-to. You can use a spray bottle filled with water to control the amount of water added to your hair. Simply apply from root to tip and scrunch! Scrunching toward the scalp encourages curl clumping and volume at the roots.

Refresh your curls using water and gel!
Gels that contain high amounts of water-loving ingredients help to seal in the water on the hair shaft. We use distilled water, flaxseed and aloe vera gel in our Flax & Aloe Hydrating Gel. After applying water to your hair, you want to use a pea-sized amount of gel and apply this to one section of your hair using praying hands. Repeat until all sections of hair are complete. Scrunch your hair toward the scalp and leave to air dry

Refresh your curls using a Leave-In Conditioner
Leave-in conditioners are formulated with a mix of water-soluble ingredients like glycerin and light oils such as coconut or jojoba. Whether you’re using a spray-in/leave-in or a cream leave-in, section your hair and spray from root to tip, scrunching as you go to encourage curl clumping.
